Recent Projects

The opening in late 2020 of the new sailing hub facility for Queen Charlotte Yacht Club on a prime site at Shelly Beach in Picton. The new hub has revolutionised the user experience for sailors of all ages. GLG completed the feasibility study in 2016. External hires were central to the sustainability model of the new facility and a design that enabled concurrent use for sailing and hosting events. The beautiful facility and site means bookings have flooded in for community events, weddings and corporate hires. The project received great support from the local community, the builder (Tory Channel Contractors), Marlborough District Council and the Rata Foundation.
