The Hubs Masterplan is a joint venture between Gisborne District Council, Trust Tairāwhiti and Sport Gisborne Tairāwhiti to replace ageing and run down facilities with new fit for purpose hubs. The Masterplan is shaping up as a transformational project for sport and recreation in the Gisborne Tairāwhiti region. A more sustainable future and better user experience through consolidated hubs generating more participation is the goal. GLG has been working with Habilis to prepare the Masterplan and associated funding case due for completion shortly.
